My process observes and documents daily life with experimental mark-making. I am fascinated by intuitive methods, embracing ‘woolgathering’ and mistakes.
Fleeting peace is an expressive spontaneousness in collecting ephemeral, euphoric, and peaceful moments through my improvisatory experience of being within nature. This lived experience intuits the inner excitement of nature into non-representational drawings and poems, which emphasize texture, sound, and ambiance from nature, visually exploring the intimate connection between nature and self-expression in instantaneous response.
This project is process-oriented. It is a series of synaesthetic momentariness that interlinks with emotive expressions evoked mark-making into color and texture. It leads the form of a book with four sections of sensation, hearing, variation, and perception using textured paper, poems, and
illustrations.
The unspoiled way of drawing becomes a performance that features Fleeting Peace as a matter. It invokes a fluid peace through a visual instinctive response. This immersive process offers an opportunity to alleviate some mental difficulties that may not have words and lets the audience experience the sensation as an interior.
